More coffee, please.

Happy Spring! Feeling anxious and blue this morning. Maybe it's the rain and the fact that I've been kind of sick, and the realization that a large part of my life has gone by while "on hold" and a ways to go still, and a family matter that I won't get into right now, among other things. Yeah, that's probably all it is. Good that spring is here though and all that snow is gone. Getting started on the early steps of my garden (don't forget my gardening blog!). While we have been waiting for a late Spring, it turns out Spring wasn't waiting after all. She's right on time and now I/we are behind schedule. More coffee, please.

Really, I start a project right when I'm about to start another "shooter's block". I've been shooting a little bit here and there though, it's just a matter of picking some nicer shots to edit...hopefully I have a few. When I do shoot, lately I've been using the 50mm f1.8 lens. Not far reaching but it's a nice fast lens, gives me sharp photos. Many say it's a good portrait lens - I haven't put it to the test for that yet. I joined a photo contest site called I Shot It . I entered a few contests and now interest has temporarily(?) waned on that as well. I think it's because of the warm weather and the fact that there is SO much work to be done around here. My son and I went to a small powwow last weekend, the first of the season in this area (that I know of - I'm not right on top of things though). Saw some familiar faces and bought some sage as well as a mixture of herbs ("sacred blend"). The powwow was held indoors a

Dark Sky Photography

Been busily working on a Wordpress site (self-hosted) which when done, will link many of my photos to FotoMoto for purchase. I wish there was a faster way to work with FotoMoto, as I have to wait for the site to 'find' the photos, then only after waiting a long time do i suspect it may not work with those certain settings, so I have to try another setting and wait again. Maybe I'll look into other photo selling sites. I do like the automation of it all though. I'm giving it a rest for now...been on the computer all day, and most of the day yesterday, and...I've lost track of time, which I usually do when I get working on stuff like this. I'll post a link soon. Have a good weekend!
